This Privacy Policy applies to information collected from users of Western High Speed Rail Alliance Web sites and user/member pages (“you” or “users”). Western High Speed Rail Alliance currently collects three types of information from online users: (1) your computer's IP (Internet Protocol) address; (2) personal/financial information you voluntarily submit or, e-mails sent to Western High Speed Rail Alliance via the Web site, or member registration forms; and (3) cookies, if you use them.

When you visit Western High Speed Rail Alliance we, we collect your IP address and standard web log information, such as your browser type and the pages you accessed on our website.

When you set up a donation Web page, we require the following information:

Personal data: - name, address, phone, email
Financial information – account information necessary to provide payments

Personal information you voluntarily disclose to Western High Speed Rail Alliance, either online or via e-mail sent to Western High Speed Rail Alliance through the Web site, is added to the relevant Western High Speed Rail Alliance database to enable processing of the order or registration, to update our member and user databases, and/or to enable us to make an appropriate response.

We may collection additional information for security purposes, or through efforts to survey users to improve Western High Speed Rail Alliance.

Western High Speed Rail Alliance collects personal information from users to improve the Web site, along with these other goals:

prevent potentially prohibited or illegal activities, and enforce terms and conditions
process transactions and send notices about your transactions
resolve disputes, collect fees, and troubleshoot problems
conduct site metric analysis to improve provided services and functionality
correspond with users to keep them up-to-date about site activities and promotions

Western High Speed Rail Alliance reserves the right to change its Privacy Policy at any time, by posting amended terms on this website. Use of the Web site after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the amended policy. We reserve the right to apply the amended terms to the information we have already collected, subject to any legal constraints. Western High Speed Rail Alliance reserves the right to provide any successor in interest with our member and user database, and other information collected pursuant to this privacy policy. We also reserve the right to comply with court orders or other legal obligations.
